Wow... Just wow. This game surely felt like a throwback to the good old days. Such strong vibes of old-school quest games like Legend of Kyrandia; the art, the music, the story - loved every second of it. Hope it grows into something bigger, because it's so captivating!

And... this might be an inappropriate place to ask but do you mind if I were to translate this game into Russian? I just want people who don't know English to try it. If it's not an option at the moment, that is ok, I'd still recommend people to play nonetheless.

Maybe one day, I have a lot of things to finish first but I know I do need to get on translating my games in the future.

Wonderful game, really loved it, from the art to the concept... I'd defo play a sequel where the Anchorite learns to navigate the real world!

Maybe one day, who knows :D

Great Sci-Fi game. Captivating history. Nice characters. Surprising and exciting ending. We want to see how it continues. Could you also makes your games in spanish ? Best Regards.

Maybe one day... Spanish would be the first language I adapt to.

This was a great play. Will follow and wishlist for sure.

This was awesome. The retro art, the interesting story, the logic behind the puzzles, the story telling, the reveal, everything was on point. And while it is a perfectly fine game by itself, it could also be an opening to a bigger game.

A sci-fi adventure with a man accompanied by a robot, lost in a city he does not know anything about... I get a good "beneath a steel sky" vibe here, but with a touch of horror, which is really good.

It may happen one day!

love this game

Thank you!

Loved it!

But too short I had an existensial crisis when it ended. like after you binge watch a great tv show!

I'm sorry! But also glad you liked it :)

Nice game, really liked cozy vibe and music in first part, great combination with unhurried point and click gameplay.

Thank you!

Loved this! One small suggestion - I misclicked through dialogue a couple times and missed a line here and there. It would be cool if you could hit a key to go back and reread.

A good suggestion, I will see what I can do

I think I got a softlock bug. On the day where the fire has gone out, the bucket looks and says it's empty but the water pump says I can't pump when the bucket is full.

Hmmm, never had that happen... I will look into it!

It wasn't a huge deal, it only took a couple of minutes to get back there from the start of the game once I knew the puzzle solutions.

I liked this game a lot! I'd be really interested to see where the story goes if you decided to develop it into something full-length.

just got the same softlock bug

Love it! 😁 I need more of the story! What happens next? 👀 I really wanna know haha.

I may continue it one day...

please do hahaha some of us are curious to find what happens next to the characters 👀

Loved it! This had such a strong Twilight Zone feeling, it was beautiful. Cool puzzles and storytelling with all the items, I had a lot of fun with this.

Thank you very much for playing! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. I am still working on the Tragic Loss of M. Slazak, but will be releasing Carnival first, so it will likely be next year for Slazak.

Super game thanks!

Glad you liked it!

very good

Thanks!

This is fantastic. An amazing story in such a small package. And the style perfectly captures the classic point-and-clicks. Excellent work!

Thank you!

so great!

Thanks!

Honestly, just a really solid story that executed very well. Puzzles were simple and fun, and the pixelated aesthetic was knocked out of the park. Obviously the music is a bonus to. Nothing short of perfection.

Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it so much.

Really great game ! Thanks

Thank you!

HI! I found you have a huge potential. But consider the piano next time. It takes out of the universe you are trying to communicate, in my opnion. Kind Regards!

Thank you

Amazing short story! Well done!

Thank you!

reminded me of the first graphic shareware programs on the old 286ibm  circa 1988? and the old Sierra games..

I grew up on Sierra games :)

Such an amazing story, twists and realizations, i hope to see more great titles like this one in the future.

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the story!

I liked it. Thanks for making and sharing this.

My pleasure!

I like this style. It reminds me of Pentiment.

Thank you so much!

It was great! I did not thought from the start that  the end would turn out to be something like this. I Mark was imprisoned because he had some dangerous powers or fate or something like that. The art style was good it seemed kind of like traditional painting mixed with pixel art. In some parts it was pretty confusing to find things like the quill  and yet it was a great game.

Thank you!

alone in the tower

a man closest to god

the highest have the longest way to fall

Yep!

Oh my god, this is a very beautiful game.
I thought I would never see such kind of artwork again.
It reminds me of the Don't Escape series from Armor Games, very fond memories.

(+1)

I find it too beautyfull and other things i cant find the words. Lovley game

Thank you both!

I was stuck for a while and got a bit frustrated... the mortar was on the table and i kept clicking 'use olives on mortar' and he kept saying it was a silly idea... it might have been a little clearer if there was some kind of 'oh, i should pick it up first' response.

Anyway, that criticism aside, I'm loving it so far.

That's a good point, I will try to remember to change it so that you can use the olives directly on the mortar and pestle in place. Glad you enjoyed it!

Love the game but is the name Anachorite susposed to be similar to anachronism or is it just a coincicence?

(+1)

Coincidence, but I like the fact that anachronism is something out of time...

I would love to see more!

I may do a sequel one day...
