October 13th, 1979.

After solving another harrowing case, detectives Will Stanhope and Ben Drummle head to what should have been a relaxing rest stop at a road-side diner in Massachusetts.

The evening descends into a nightmare when a brutally injured man and his son stagger in, pointing back into the shadows towards a 'gray man' with a shimmering smile...

Snarl is a short pixel-horror point & click prequel to both Abscission and Teeth of Glass.

Thank you to Tomas Asimov for the soundtrack, and Rose Prytherch for the cover art.

Due to performance issues running it in the browser, this game is download only for now!

After having played Anchorite and Glass of Teeth, I was fully invested in finding out more about the Grey Man - I loved the vibe with Snarl, kind of made me think about Stephen King's 'Mist' with a group of characters all locked up in a location with a terrifying entity just outside the doors.

MARRRRTHA!

Beyondbooleans is certainly bringing the point and click horror adeventures back - especially with Carnival having been released on Steam - this dev is working their socks off!

Loved the atmosphere, and looking forward to seeing the Grey man return...

Vivaldi's flagging the download up as 'virus detected'. Doesn't do this with any of your other games, but will not allow me to download this one for love nor money. Isn't even an option to choose to trust it like normal. I'm pretty sure it's a false positive, but wanted to warn you/any Vivaldi users. I'll just try Chrome for now.

Ah ok, thank you for letting me know. I'll have a look at that, and also try getting the play-in-browser working.

No worries. Figured you'd wanna know! Also I don't think you're on Bluesky so I couldn't tag you, but I've been championing the absolute hell out of Abcission and now Carnival. I'm the director/lead developer of The Charnel House Trilogy, and co-developer of Richard & Alice, so I absolutely love seeing people like you guys keeping the AGS horror community not only alive, but at an obscenely good quality. Abcission was genuinely the best adventure game of 2023 for my money. Not far with Carnival yet but can see it being as much of a contender. Y'all are phenomenal.

Oh wow, thank you! I appreciate that a lot, your games are fantastic. Have you got anything else in the works?

Thank you!

I really enjoyed playing this; it made me go back to the previous one to revisit the doctor story. I guess I should finally buy the first one to complete the narrative :)

Thank you :) Glad you enjoyed it.

Awesome!
